9th graders! Tickets for the 9th grade dance are now on sale! Join us on May 15th from 6 - 8pm for a night of dancing on and a delicious Italian meal under the theme Starry Night. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the finance window. Remember, you must meet 9th grade activity requirements to be eligible. Formal attire is encouraged, so come dressed to impress. The 9th grade awards ceremony will follow from 8-8:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Parents, guardians, and students are invited to fill out the form on our website nominating a teacher who embodies a Heart of the Warrior from this (second) semester; please include the reason why you are nominating them, and how they have made an impact. Our administrators will be choosing one teacher per semester to receive this award.

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, MAY 4TH! We invite all students and members of our community to celebrate the last day of school in our annual last day of school "almost 5K" fun run!. This year the race will be on May 22, at 8:30am starting from the north parking lot. Any student (or community member) can participate but registration is required to receive a t-shirt and be eligible for prizes. Please see the registration form on our website for more information!

Please join us in congratulating our Battle of the Books team for their first place win at the district competition! The Lightning Owls worked extremely hard this year to read and study twenty books. They battled Lake Mountain's 12 other teams to earn the chance to go to the district battle and then had to battle nine teams from other schools to earn the top spot. They won by two questions! We are proud of their dedication and hard work!
